Reminder to complete your current CPD requirements by 31 December 2021
Practitioners are reminded that your current recertification programme will end on 31 December 2021. This means you have until 31 December 2021 to complete your CPD hours and peer contact requirements.
You will be asked to complete an online self-declaration of your CPD hours after 31 December 2021.
You can expect a further communication from the Dental Council setting out the process for making your self-declaration after the current cycle has ended.
The new recertification programme starts from 1 October 2021 for dentists and dental specialists; and from 1 April 2022 for oral health therapists, dental hygienists, dental therapists, orthodontic auxiliaries, dental technicians and clinical dental technicians.
This does not change the requirement for you to complete the current recertification programme ending on 31 December 2021.
