- The Dental Council office will close early for the holidays on Thursday 21 December and reopen on Monday 8 January. If you have an urgent query that must be dealt with during the break, please call +64 4 499 4820.
- 31 December 2017 current recertification programme ends for dental hygienists/dental therapists/oral health therapists/orthodontic auxiliaries/dental technicians and clinical dental technicians. For those who need to submit CPD self-declaration forms, these are due no later than 20 January 2017. If you are unsure whether you need to submit a form, please see here for more information.
- 1 February 2018: updated patient records and privacy of health information practice standard comes into effect.
- 5 February 2018 – submissions close for our informed consent practice standard consultation.
