The Dental Council is currently consulting on the 2021/22 draft budget, proposed APC fees and disciplinary levies and other fees for oral health practitioners.
We have issued a consultation document and are seeking comments and views from our practitioners and stakeholders.
We are also seeking feedback about our current policies on the allocation of costs for inquiries and competence remediation.
Your feedback is important and we encourage you to send us your submission by email to consultations@dcnz.org.nz.
Alternatively, you can send us your feedback by post to Dental Council, PO Box 10-448, Wellington 6143.
Your submissions must reach us before 5pm on 15 January 2021.
We will consider all submissions received with a view to making final decisions at the Council’s meeting in February 2021. Once approved by Council, the 2021/22 APC fee and disciplinary levy schedule will be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
All submissions received will be published on the Council’s website and will remain there as a public record. If you are an individual making a submission, only your name and profession (if you are a registered health practitioner), will be published on the Council’s website. All personal contact details will be removed from your submission.
As this is a public consultation, “in confidence” information will only be accepted under special circumstances. Please contact us before submitting material in confidence.
The Council holds the right not to publish any derogatory or inflammatory submissions.
